Before opening the installer: in PowerShell, in the folder
where you saved it, run Get-FileHash "PriestAI Setup.exe" -Algorithm SHA256.
Compare the result with the SHA-256 above. If they differ, do not run it.
From 1.5.56 to 1.5.57 only: close PAVONA and run the 1.5.57 Setup in the same installation folder. Do not use Apply in the 1.5.56 app; that updater timed out in release testing. Setup keeps conversations, settings and models when it can verify the earlier program files. If it cannot, Setup leaves the installation unchanged and names up to five files it could not verify; keep the old folder and its data, and restore the earlier program files and their installed manifest from a trusted backup before running Setup again. For other version changes, read that release's instructions before updating.
Once the hash matches, double-click it. It then downloads the software that runs the models and one model sized to your computer - 2 to 7 GB in all, with the progress on screen. What your computer needs.
The PAVONA Windows installer downloads as PriestAI Setup.exe.
